About me

I am a 2nd-year CS PhD student at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. My research primarily focuses on the intersection of robust optimization and learning theory. I am very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Jelena Diakonikolas. Additionally, I have the privilege of collaborating with Prof. Ilias Diakonikolas and other amazing collaborators. Prior to joining Madison, I completed my B.S. degree in Computer Science, Honors Mathematics and Honors Stastistics at University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, where I was honored to be advised by Prof. Ambuj Tewari and Dr. Yash Patel.

Outside of Research

Outside of research, I enjoy bouldering, Go (Baduk/Weiqi), and writing. I started bouldering in Fall 2024 and it has quickly become my favorite sport. I have played Go since age eight, earned an amateur 5-dan rank in China, and qualified as a National Second-Class Athlete. I’m also an avid reader—especially of Gabriel García Márquez—and magical realism has had a lasting influence on my writing.
